As we approach December, we’re finalising the last details of our Christmas Party — and this year, we’re introducing something truly special: KMDC’s very first Live Dance Contest (13rd Dec 2:00pm)
If you’d like to perform the full choreography or a selected section from any 2025 Filming Class project on stage, this is your chance to apply.

If you participated in any one of these Filming projects, gather your team again and apply together! (You don’t need the full original team, and you’re also welcome to form a new group with different members.)
You may also apply with a team / solo or duet using a different K-pop song learned in class.
As part of the contest, we’ll recognise the performances that the KMDC Community, Teachers, and Performers/Staff enjoyed the most — celebrating teams that bring impressive, creative, or entertaining moments to the stage. (We’ll also be preparing a small selection of gifts — for example, Korean beauty products, official KMDC merchclass coupons, a Member’s Pick opportunity, Etc.)
This event is not meant to be a professional-level competition, but a fun and relaxed part of our End Of Year Party where we can enjoy dancing together.

- If multiple teams apply with the same song, we will prioritise the earliest submission to ensure diversity in the performance lineup.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the last part of the foundation workshop.
Summary of what we spoke today:
Working in building our muscles we did some diagonals to work the overall recognition and awareness:
- high knees
- back kicks
- lounges
- planks with crossings
Coordination exercises
Working on different sequences for our leg/rhythm coordination, we also practice relaxed and dancing it to help us being familiar with weight changes to apply into choreos

Technique training
Went over past footworks such as:
- v step (basic & advanced)
- lotus
- heel-toe
- Memphis hook
Today, we added:
- Charleston: weight changing, always us in our bounces to move our legs forwards and back.
- running man: bringing our knees up while jumping to create that running illusion

The wait is finally over — Red Light (Hyunjin & Bang Chan) is coming this Sunday! 🔥
After our previous highlight class, so many of you asked for a full version… and now it’s happening!
This workshop will cover the entire choreography — from start to finish.
The class will be taught in a beginner-friendly format, so everyone can join and enjoy learning together.
Although this is a duet choreography, the workshop will be structured as solo-based practice, with some optional duet moments introduced during class.
Any props used in the original routine will be replaced with movement expressions instead — so no need to prepare any extra items.

Engage in our unique scheduling system by recommending and voting on your favorite songs before the class schedule is finalized. The voting list for the schedule includes recommended songs as well as the latest and most popular tracks. Your participation directly shapes the KMDC schedule, ensuring it meets your preferences.
BESPOKE PRIVATE CLASS SYSTEM
If the song you want to learn is not on the schedule, or you need to work on dance basics as part of your dance journey, simply write it down. If at least five KMDC members are interested, a small group class will be organized. This system ensures that if you desire a class, others likely do too—so suggest and create the classes you want!
